The Computational Vision and Neural Networks Lab (ViNe Lab) carries out research activities in the fields of Artificial Vision, Pattern Analysis and Recognition, Biometrics, Medical Imaging and Modeling of Biological Systems. From a theoretical point of view, ViNe Lab has extensive experience in image and signal processing, artificial vision and pattern recognition, machine learning and related applications. In particular, the group has developed skills in Machine Learning techniques, such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Shallow Neural Networks, Deep Learning and Dictionary Learning.
