The duties of the Office for Didactics include Front Office activities and student support for the management of administrative tasks related to the:
- Study Courses
- Doctoral Programs
- Internships
- Postgraduate courses incardinated in DIETI
- Erasmus mobility
- Master's degree
The Office provides information and support to students and faculty on issues related to teaching, acting as a liaison between them, the Central Administrative Offices, the Student Secretariat, the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School and the Guidance and Tutoring Office.
It clarifies the procedures for intra- and extra-moenia internships, company internships and assists students during their conduct. It constitutes a concrete point of reference for educational activities and to find information about the educational services available in the School, secretarial services (possible certificates, exam attendance proofs, Right to Study hours etc..), logistical and bureaucratic organization of the Department, the University, and special educational offerings. Provides information on the objectives and employment outlets of the various Study Courses pertaining to DIETI. Checks that communications provided by faculty to students are sufficiently clear and timely. Supports faculty on issues affecting students, Courses of Study, also interfacing with the Student Department. It conducts monitoring of students' careers making use of IT tools where required. The Service therefore constitutes an informative, advisory and useful support for students in the choice, elaboration and successful conclusion of their educational project.
The Office for Teaching assists the ITEE and ICTH doctoral courses.
It provides support mainly to the Chairman and the College. It manages all aspects from bureaucratic/administrative, to relations with Italian and foreign doctoral students, website management, Doctoral Offices, Public Relations and Transparency Offices, to the organization of Courses and Seminars. Gives support to the Examination Committee during the Doctoral Competition. Follows the doctoral student's teaching/administrative career.
The Office for Teaching supports the Department's Erasmus Delegate (faculty sponsor). The Office, within the limits of its competencies, takes care of the administrative tasks of Erasmus activities using a TA contact person.
