Award for the best article published in the Networks magazine in 2022 for Adriano Masone, co-author of the article "The Multivisit drone routing problem with edge launches: An iterative approach with discrete and continuous improvements".

The paper "The European AI Tango: Balancing Regulation, Innovation and Competitiveness" of Christina Todorova, George Sharkov, Huib Aldewereld, Stefan Leijnen, Alireza Dehghani, Stefano Marrone, Carlo Sansone, Maurice Lynch, John Pugh, Tarry Singh, Kitti Mezei, Péter Antal, Péter Hanák, Alessandro Barducci, Fernando Perez-Tellez, Francesco Gargiulo won the Best Research Paper Award at the ACM Human-Centred AI Education & Practice Conference (HCAI-ep) held on 14 and 15 December in Dublin.

The work is another fruit of the HCAIM project which gave rise to the homonymous Master based in the DIETI Department.

The "IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Service Award for the EMEA Region" is awarded for significant contributions to the development of the activities of the IEEE Communications Society in the EMEA region, and for 2023 Angela Sara Cacciapuoti was the winner.

The Dr. Mohammed Sallam, Post Doc Researcher at the medical laboratory of the PRISMA team, at the ICAROS center, received the first prize for best presentation at the twelfth edition of CRAS (Conference on New Technologies for Computer and Robot Assisted Surgery) with the paper "Towards a Robotic Surgical Needle Holder with Needle Rolling Capabilities".
