The paper "The European AI Tango: Balancing Regulation, Innovation and Competitiveness" of Christina Todorova, George Sharkov, Huib Aldewereld, Stefan Leijnen, Alireza Dehghani, Stefano Marrone, Carlo Sansone, Maurice Lynch, John Pugh, Tarry Singh, Kitti Mezei, Péter Antal, Péter Hanák, Alessandro Barducci, Fernando Perez-Tellez, Francesco Gargiulo won the Best Research Paper Award at the ACM Human-Centred AI Education & Practice Conference (HCAI-ep) held on 14 and 15 December in Dublin.
The work is another fruit of the HCAIM project which gave rise to the homonymous Master based in the DIETI Department.
