As part of the network of activities connecting universities, the local community, and industry, I would like to highlight the NeAcademy & DataFest initiative, which will be held in Naples on June 3 and 4, 2026, and will see the participation of numerous operators, companies, and professionals from the Telco, Cloud, Data Center, and digital infrastructure sectors.
The initiative is also part of a multi-year project developed with the direct involvement of the School of Polytechnic and Basic Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II. The aim is to foster increasingly concrete connections between the academic and industrial worlds, bringing students, researchers, and young professionals closer to emerging digital innovation topics.
NeAcademy is designed to provide a platform for discussion and orientation on the major issues transforming the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors, offering students the opportunity to engage directly with companies, technologies, and application scenarios often not explored during their university studies.
DataFest offers an in-depth look at the evolution of data infrastructure, cloud, edge ecosystems, and AI, involving national and international industry players.
