Angela Sara Cacciapuoti, professor of Quantum Communications and Networks of the DIETI Department, won, one of the 13 awarded women from all over the world, the prestigious award conferred by the N2Women Association, a global association for researchers from all over the world in the field of communications and computer networks.
The prize was awarded to her for her research related to "understanding the challenges and technological advances necessary for the realization of a Quantum Internet".
The N2Women is supported by the IEEE Communications Society and industry partners such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft and HP.
