Research doctor Bruno Miranda (XXXV ICTH Cycle, supervisor Prof. Carlo Forestiere) won the prize for the best doctoral thesis awarded by the Italian Society of Optics and Photonics (SIOF).
The doctoral thesis focuses on plasmonic and high refractive index nano-resonators for biosensing and was defended on 19 April 2023.
