The tutoring activity is carried out to supplement and deepen the lessons and refers to the topics covered by the teacher in charge of the course.
Theoretical clarifications may be provided, but above all, exercises and exams are presented to the students, with detailed explanations and explanations.
The tutor's support is aimed above all at strengthening, where necessary, the basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and computer science, to allow the student to face the professionalizing training course with confidence.
FOR WHICH COURSES IS TUTORING PROVIDED?
For the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024, tutoring activities are provided for the courses of:
- Mathematical Analysis I, General Physics I and Fundamentals of Computer Science for the first year of the Degree Courses in Automation, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Telecommunications and Digital Media Engineering.
- Mathematical Analysis I, Algebra, Programming for the first year of the Degree Courses in Computer Science.
- Analysis I for the first year for the Degree Courses in Electrical Engineering (in this case the tutoring activities are organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering).
WHERE DO THE EXERCISES TAKE PLACE AND AT WHAT TIME?
The tutorials held by the tutors take place online on the TEAMS platform. The references to the channels and the codes to assist in the exercises are indicated on the TEAMS channels of the corresponding courses.
For each course there is a weekly exercise of two. There are also exercises after the end of the courses to help students prepare for exams. In addition, in agreement with the students, tutors can provide additional hours of in-depth study of the topics covered in the exercises.
