Congratulations to the Colleagues of the DIETI Winners of the Start Cup Campania 2021

Congratulations to our Carlo Petrarca, Marco Balato for the HistoBi project and Fanny Ficuciello, Rocco Moccia, post Doc, and Avinash Kumar Singh, PhD ICTH student, for the PRISMA-I-Pro project for the result achieved in the Start Cup Campania 2021.

The HistoBI project, coordinated by Giovanni Balato, an innovative system for the chromatic mapping of tissues and/or infected materials, through the use of dyes, their mixtures and metal complexes obtained from them, in the form of solution, emulsion or spray. This ready-to-use dye system responds to the current need for fast and easy-to-use screening, while at the same time reducing the analysis costs incurred today. This project, in addition to having won the second prize, also had the "Special Contamination Prize" because the group is made up of two different universities, Federico II University and Parthenope University.

The PRISMA-I-Pro project, coordinated by Fanny Ficuciello, for prostheses for amputated limbs whose operation is simplified through the use of virtual reality simulation software that allows undertaking a training path in the use of the device itself to be carried out directly from home and having an assistance service available which allows learning the use of the robotic hand in a simple and fun way.

The winning projects of the Start up Campania 2021 have the right to participate in the National Innovation Award (PNI), a national competition in which all regional competitions collaborate.
