Alfonso Strino is the first student to achieve a master's degree in Automation Engineering and Robotics, discussing the thesis entitled "Design of a SCADA system for integrated supervision of railway tunnels", carried out in collaboration with Hitachi Rail under the supervision of teacher of the Control lab course, prof. Raffaele Iervolino.

The master's degree in Automation Engineering and Robotics was activated at Federico II starting from the academic year. 2019-2020 with the aim of responding to the growing interest of the production world for robotics in all its forms (industrial, service, medical ...) and for the countless applications in which the skills of the automation engineer are essential (green transition, Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things, self-driving vehicles, building automation).
